The BMW M5 goes into Manhart's hands to delight us with more than 700 CV

The BMW M5 has allowed itself to be modified by German tuner Manhart, who has managed to squeeze out every last drop of sportiness from the German saloon.

Sports saloons are at their most sought-after, since the car manufacturers working in this segment are offering us increasingly radical vehicles. However, and as is customary in the world of tuners, they are never satisfied with what the brand offers, which is why Manhart has decided to squeeze out every last drop of sportiness from the new BMW M5. In this way, the German tuner has managed to enhance in every respect one of the most radical saloons ever made.

The legacy of the M5 has allowed us to get to know some of the most iconic saloons of all time, where versatility and sportiness go hand in hand, offering a spectacular combination. BMW has been looking after the M5 over the years, but its most radical saloon has reached a level never before seen in a vehicle of its segment, yet Manhart wanted to go further.

The latest generation of the BMW M5 has arrived as one of the most technologically advanced, thus being able to offer its customers a host of new features. However, Manhart has managed to get even more out of the German saloon through aesthetic and mechanical changes, which make the M5 look far more sporty and aggressive than ever. This version from the German tuner is called the MH5 and is simply spectacular.

Aesthetically we can see how Manhart has replaced and improved various elements, but the first thing that catches our attention is the long gold stripe running along the entire bodywork of the MH5. At the same time, the German tuner offers a carbon fibre styling pack, which includes a diffuser, splitter and spoiler in that material, making the BMW M5 not only lighter, but also much more aggressive.

To complete the ensemble, Manhart has also included exclusive 21-inch aluminium alloy wheels. These house the impressive brakes of the BMW M5, but the surprises don’t end here. At the same time, Manhart has fitted a carbon fibre exhaust system, which allows the symphony emanating from its 4.4-litre V8 to be fully amplified, thus offering the driver a much more intense experience.

To improve the M5’s dynamic behaviour, Manhart has included a new suspension signed by KW that lowers the German saloon’s ride height by 20 mm, a distance more than sufficient to accentuate its clear sporting character. However, the real novelty lies under the bonnet, where the 4.4-litre V8 engine is now capable of producing 720 CV of power and an impressive 870 Nm of torque. To achieve this result, Manhart has modified the ECU, called MHtronik, which allows the M5’s turbocharged engine to be pushed to the maximum.

Without a doubt, Manhart has achieved the impossible, taking the BMW M5 to the next level and obtaining an even more impressive result. In this way, the MH5 has become the most radical variant ever created of the BMW saloon and, at the same time, shows us the hidden potential of the M5, which can be unleashed to create an even more radical beast.
