Novitec has decided to modify the Ferrari 812 GTS, the convertible version of the 812 Superfast, which now reaches 840 CV and 750 Nm of torque.
We should no longer be surprised that Novitec plays with the latest developments from Ferrari, a brand for which it has a clear preference and for which it creates significant upgrades. This time it was the turn of the Ferrari 812 GTS, the convertible version of the Ferrari 812 Superfast, whose power is substantially increased, aerodynamics improved and aesthetic changes introduced. In this way, the German tuner has once again made its mark on what is possibly the last supercar convertible with a naturally aspirated V12 engine.
In this way, we not only have one of the first modifications to the 812 GTS, but also a preview of the improvements that the future Ferrari 812 “GTO” might feature. For customers who do not want to wait for the Italian manufacturer to unveil the most radical version of its supercar, Novitec’s proposal may be just the right fit.
In terms of styling, there are slight changes aimed at improving both aerodynamics and visual appeal. It now features 21-inch single-lug-nut wheels, combined with various elements finished in carbon fibre strategically placed at the front and rear to improve the airflow. This material has also been used for the bonnet air outlets, rear wheel arches and spoiler.

To help improve the look and behaviour of the Ferrari 812 GTS, Novitec includes a new suspension system that lowers the bodywork by 35 millimetres; although, the Italian supercar has also been given the ability to raise the front by 40 millimetres to tackle speed bumps and driveway entrances and exits.
However, the highlight of the Ferrari 812 GTS prepared by Novitec is in its mechanical upgrades. Here sits a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 which, thanks to a sport catalytic converter and a high-performance exhaust system, produces 840 CV and 751 Nm of torque, that is, 40 CV and 33 Nm of torque more than the standard model.

For now, Novitec has not revealed the performance figures of the 812 GTS after these modifications. Even so, we must bear in mind that the tuner’s upgraded coupé version guarantees a 0 to 100 km/h time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 345 km/h, so a very similar performance is expected from the GTS version we are looking at today, which in standard form sprints to 100 km/h in 3 seconds and reaches 340 km/h.
