The Lamborghini Temerario Super Trofeo is the brand's secret weapon for the track
The new Temerario built for the circuit is an evolution of the GT3 version that was presented at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and is aimed at the track.

Many brands present versions of their supercars to compete in the races held across the world. Lamborghini is no stranger to this and has just unveiled what will be its next model for Super Trofeo competition. Until now, a Lamborghini Huracan had been used in this category, but now the Temerario will take its place.
Last weekend the prototype of this model was unveiled, during the traditional Lamborghini World Finals. In this way, attendees were able to see up close what has become the sixth Super Trofeo model since the launch of the Squadra Corse di Automobili Lamborghini division.

This model is an evolution of the Temerario GT3, which was presented during the Goodwood Festival of Speed, held in July. However, the car’s debut will not take place until March, when it will take part in the 12 Hours of Sebring. These two models serve to reinforce Lamborghini Squadra Corse‘s commitment to customer racing competitions.

LAMBORGHINI TEMERARIO SUPER TROFEO
The relationship between Lamborghini and Super Trofeo competition dates back to 2009, when it launched the Gallardo Super Trofeo. Initially, the brand’s intentions were far removed from competition, but customers wanted a product designed for the track. Today, there are 1,300 drivers who have competed in the Super Trofeo, and they always look for a car that meets their needs and makes a difference. This model is the culmination of the union between Lamborghini and this competition.
The Gallardo debuted in 2009 and was the star for four seasons. It was followed by the Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo, which was active between 2013 and 2015. In 2015 this model shared the grid with the Huracan LP 620-2 Super Trofeo, which reigned on the track until 2017.
Behind this model came two evolutions of the Huracán Super Trofeo. The first took part between 2018 and 2021, and the second began its history in 2022 and runs until this very year, 2025. The Lamborghini Super Trofeo competition has welcomed 1,383 drivers, who have got behind the wheel of a Lamborghini and raced on circuits in Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East, with a total of 563 races.

Characteristics of the Lamborghini Temerario Super Trofeo
This model derives from the road car, the Temerario Stradale. The latter produces 800 CV thanks to its combustion engine, to which it adds an extra 120 CV thanks to the hybrid system. The Temerario Super Trofeo uses a twin-turbo V8 engine delivering around 650 CV, paired with a six-speed sequential gearbox. It uses the same Hoer gearbox as the Temerario GT3. This serves as the basis for many elements of the competition model, so it is very convenient for each driver to adapt the car to their needs.
The ALU/CFK hybrid chassis features a FIA-homologated roll cage and can be customised for each driver. It incorporates a braking system with ABS and brake control adjustable across 12 levels. Alongside Lamborghini Squadra Corse there are partners such as Pertamina, which supplies the engine lubricants; Capristo, which supplies the exhaust system; KW, which handles the suspension; and BMC Air Filters.
To complete the package, the Lamborghini Temerario Super Trofeo will incorporate the first non-woven type material, Dinamica Infinity, along with other elements to enjoy the thrill of high performance.
