Lotus Emira 420 Sport: power and strength with a four-cylinder engine
The Lotus Emira 420 Sport has joined the range to become the most powerful and efficient production four-cylinder car.

One of the best-known luxury brands is Lotus. Its models have become classics that have made history in the automotive industry. One of the best-known models from this brand is the Emira, which this season receives a new version that delivers the power needed to become the most powerful, lightest and most aerodynamically efficient variant of the range built to date.
The Sport designation has been added to this version, reserved for the purest and most dynamic models from Lotus. Thus, the Lotus Emira 420 Sport joins the family made up of the legendary Esprit Sport 300, Esprit Sport 350, Elise Sport 220, Exige Sport 380 and Evora GT410 Sport.

The DNA of the circuit is also present in the Lotus 420 Sport, which has been designed for the road but does not fear the track. The Lotus Light Handling Pack allows the weight to be reduced by 25 kg compared with the Lotus Emira Turbo, in addition to generating 25 kg of extra aerodynamic downforce. With this, Lotus has made this version the fastest production four-cylinder engined car in the world.
Aesthetically, it has added a removable tinted glass roof panel, which is now available across the entire range. The Lotus Emira 240 Sport will be available at the end of August. In the meantime, it can already be reserved and a unit requested to enjoy the most dynamic driving possible.

The Lotus Emira 420 Sport features a 2.0-litre inline four-cylinder engine, producing 416 CV and 500 Nm of torque. This represents an increase of 16 CV over the Emira Turbo SE and 56 CV compared with the Emira Turbo.
The rear-wheel drive is managed through an eight-speed gearbox, calibrated to offer a more dynamic and efficient response. With this combination, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 3.9 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h takes 12.47 seconds, and the top speed is 300 km/h.
All these performance figures seem to point to a track-focused spirit, but it is a road car and it demonstrates this through a setup tuned tightly to that purpose. Even so, the Lotus Lightweight Handling Pack unlocks the most precise and direct chassis an Emira has ever had.

For those who want to enjoy the track, the Lotus Track Pro is available, including lap timing, predictive times, and synchronised video and telemetry analysis to support the driver.
Design and interior of the Lotus Emira
On the outside, carbon fibre elements reinforce the vehicle’s image of power and elegance. The launch colour is Tangelo Orange, which recalls the brand’s more classic colours. The lower body finished in dark grey and the black roof create a very attractive contrast with the main colour.
Inside, we find upholstery in perforated black Alcántara and black Nappa leather. Another option is the Tangelo Orange pack, which matches the exterior. The gearshift paddles on the steering wheel are carbon fibre, a material also present in the Carbon Fiber Pack.
This model will be available in the MY2027 Emira range as the flagship and will be priced at 132,500 euros.
