BMW unveils the M4 GT3 EVO, its most ambitious bet with 590 CV for the 2025 season
BMW Motorsport has unveiled one of the greatest feats of engineering, ready to compete next year in the highest categories

BMW M Motorsport has done with the M4 what every brand should do: it has listened to feedback from its drivers and customers and improved every technical aspect needed to drive this GT in the most optimal way. This is nothing less than the EVO version of its iconic BMW M4 GT3, unveiled just before the prestigious 24 Hours of Nürburgring. Set to debut in the 2025 season, both the BMW M4 GT3 EVO and the BMW M4 GT4 EVO promise to revolutionize the world of GT racing with their technical and design innovations.

The development of the BMW M4 GT3 EVO has focused not only on improving raw performance, but on refining ease of driving, efficiency and reliability of the vehicle. This approach is the result of intensive dialogue with teams and drivers such as Jens Klingmann (GER), Bruno Spengler (CAN) and Augusto Farfus (BRA), who were tasked with testing and fine-tuning this competition machine, priced at 578,000 euros before tax.

Design evolution to improve aerodynamics
The changes to the BMW M4 GT3 EVO’s chassis are clearly visible if you know the previous versions. A new cathodic electrocoating process has been applied, making it lighter by replacing traditional paint. This change not only reduces the vehicle’s weight, but also improves aerodynamic efficiency, along with other adjustments such as smaller aerodynamic mirrors, larger air outlets in the front wheel arches and a rear wing with a modified adjustment range.

In terms of design, the BMW M4 GT3 EVO adopts the “Inception” concept, a design based on a mosaic with the iconic M colors in a three-dimensional sequence and a matte, non-reflective black section in front of the driver to improve concentration.
The suspension has also been upgraded: the BMW M4 GT3 EVO features new anti-roll bars on the front and rear axles that combine perfectly with larger rear brake discs. These improvements, together with a finer and easier-to-adjust differential, ensure less wear on tyres and brakes, offering more consistent and better-controlled driving.

Technical specifications of the BMW M4 GT3 EVO
The dimensions of the BMW M4 GT3 EVO give it a robust look without sacrificing an ounce of aerodynamics:
- Length: 5,020 mm (with splitter and wing).
- Width: 2,040 mm.
- Height: 1,310 mm (variable).
- Wheelbase: 2,917 mm.
- Wheel size: 12.5 x 18″ front; 13 x 18″ rear.
At the heart of the BMW M4 GT3 EVO is a P58 3.0L 6-cylinder M TwinPower Turbo engine with a displacement of 2,993 cc, capable of producing up to 590 CV. This engine is coupled to a 6-speed X-Trac gearbox and an electro-hydraulic clutch to deliver the smooth, precise power that characterizes the BMW.

The braking system has also been improved, with 390 mm discs and 6-piston calipers at the front, and 380 mm discs with 4-piston calipers at the rear, ensuring superior braking capacity.
