G-Power G8M Hurricane RR: the BMW M8 on steroids with 900 CV is here
The German tuner has turned the M8 Competition into a definitive beast of staggering figures and has equipped it with a spectacular look

G-Power and its extensive experience tuning BMW has returned with its latest weapon. This spearhead is called G8M Hurricane RR and it is the most beastly version of the BMW M8 Competition we have ever seen. A model that already promised with its 625 CV, but now that it has passed through the hands of the German tuner, turns it into a machine of another level.
In recent months we have already brought you several preparations by the guys at G-Power on the M2 Competition, whose power they raised to 550 CV, on the X6 M Competition or the M5 Competition, among many others. However, one model remained with which to show their capabilities: the BMW M8.

Not discreet, yet without the need for flashiness
The look of this machine is not very discreet, to be fair, although it is part of the charm of this beast. The colour that dresses this vehicle is a metallic bright orange tone which, combined with the multiple elements in carbon fibre and gloss black, makes a sublime combination.
At the front, G-Power has fitted a new carbon fibre front splitter and a new bonnet made by specialist Venturi, which has been lightened to improve dynamics by reducing total weight.

At the side, we find practically no differences from the conventional model apart from its 21-inch Hurricane RR alloy wheels. G-Power has not needed to resort to garish elements for us to realise that this car is very special.
At the rear, we find a new gloss black diffuser accompanying the four 110 mm carbon exhaust outlets and the crown jewel, a large rear wing, also in carbon fibre, to improve the aerodynamics and stability of this rocket.

Its interior, as it could not be otherwise, is covered in hand-stitched leather and Alcantara, multiple carbon fibre trims with top-tier finishes and, as the cherry on the cake, a identification plate showing the chassis number of each vehicle.
A radical heart
Now to the most interesting part: G-Power has managed to raise the 900 CV and 1,050 Nm of torque of the M8 Competition. This was made possible by fitting upgraded, higher-capacity turbochargers with enlarged intakes, forged pistons to withstand the stress, an improved cooling system and a modified transmission to handle the incredible torque figure.

The top speed has been limited to 340 km/h by the tuner, and its 0 to 100 km/h, although no information has been provided by the company, will undoubtedly drop below the 3.2 seconds of which the conventional M8 Competition with 625 CV and 750 Nm of torque is capable.
For the moment we know nothing about its price, although if we take into account that the G5M Hurricane RR requires 115,000 euros extra to carry out its preparation, the cost for today’s protagonist should not be far from that figure, to which we must add the 192,100 euros from which the M8 Competition starts being sold in our country.
