Leapmotor already has more than a thousand sales points spread across Europe
Leapmotor, the Chinese electric vehicle brand backed by the Stellantis group, has just reached an important milestone in its commercial strategy on the continent. The company has officially announced that it already has more than a thousand sales points in Europe. An achievement that is by no means minor, considering it has been accomplished in barely two years since the Chinese brand began operating in the European market, with the launch of the C10 and T03 models.
Today, Leapmotor has more than 1,020 outlets spread across 36 countries, from Iceland in northern Europe to Bulgaria in the east, passing through Malta. Recently the Chinese firm has started expanding into Norway and several Balkan countries, and the network keeps growing week after week.

This remarkable pace of expansion has been made possible by the alliance with Stellantis, which in 2023 acquired 20 percent of Leapmotor. The agreement pursued two goals: strengthening Stellantis’ presence in China -although that is another story- and also bringing Leapmotor’s electric vehicles to the European market. To manage this second objective, the joint venture Leapmotor International was created.
How has this been possible?
The secret behind this commercial success lies in the fact that many new Leapmotor dealerships have been set up within existing outlets of Stellantis brands, such as FIAT, Opel or Peugeot. This has avoided building a sales network from scratch and has accelerated the arrival of Leapmotor in hundreds of European cities.
It must not be forgotten, however, that having many sales points does not guarantee high registration volumes. In the case of Leapmotor, nevertheless, European demand appears to be responding. Proof of this is that last month 27 percent of the company’s global deliveries went to Europe. With 103,129 units sold worldwide in August, that amounts to more than 27,800 cars destined for the European market.

Finally, it should be noted that the European offering of the Chinese manufacturer in Europe continues to grow. After the T03 microcar and the C10 SUV—available in pure electric and range-extender versions—the B10 compact SUV and the B05 electric fastback are already on European roads. The B03X compact can be ordered, and the B03—known in China as the A05—is about to debut.
