The DS Nº7 announces its prices in Spain ahead of its imminent arrival at dealerships

Last March, DS Automobiles announced the upcoming arrival in its line-up of a new compact SUV replacing one of the brand’s best-selling models, the DS 7. This is the new DS Nº7, a new name and a new look for an SUV that was crying out for a new generation if it was to stay at the front of the competition. Although changing the name from its predecessor may be risky, the new DS Nº7 looks set to follow the same path.

Let’s recall that the DS Nº7 is presented as a model that takes the concept DS Aero Sport Lounge as its reference, with a length of 4,660 mm and a wheelbase of 2,790 mm that are larger than its predecessor’s, while keeping the same dimensions in the rest of its measurements. Its design stands out for a striking front end that inherits the light signature the brand debuted on the DS Nº8, mirrored at the rear with the distinctive and unusual rear lights.

The longer wheelbase has also brought easier access to the interior, especially for the rear seats with larger doors, where we find a spacious and generous cabin with comfort for passengers, who will enjoy plenty of legroom. As is usual for the brand, high-quality materials have been used inside, which can be upgraded or complemented depending on the chosen trim, just like its technology equipment, although it is also well equipped from its entry-level trim.

It will be available in four trims, with the entry-level version of the range simply called DS Nº7, which includes, among many others, standard equipment such as the following:

• 19-inch alloy wheels
• Keyless entry and start
• Rear and side parking assistance
• Reversing camera
• 3D Gloss Black grille
• 16-inch central touchscreen

The second trim is called Pallas and adds to the first elements such as the following:

• DS Iris System
• Connected 3D navigation
• Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
• Ventilated wireless smartphone charger
• Front and rear parking assistance
• Power tailgate with hands-free function
• Laminated and acoustic front windows
• Heated front seats

The third trim, called Étoile, focuses on offering more technology equipment and adds, above all of the above, elements such as the following:

• DS Luminascreen
• Alarm with superlocking
• DS Drive Assist 2.0
• DS Pixel LED Vision
• Electrochromic interior rear-view mirror
• Vision 360º camera
• Seats with DS Neckwarmer
• Clean Cabin system with Air Quality System

Finally, we arrive at the last trim, called La Premiere, which rounds off the DS Nº7 with equipment that increases comfort, including elements such as the following:

• 21-inch alloy wheels
• Heated steering wheel
• Electra 3D by Focal hi-fi system
• Lounge seats with DS Neckwarmer
• Heated windscreen
• DS Night Vision system

In terms of mechanics, the DS Nº7 will first be available in the Hybrid full hybrid version, made up of the 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine from Stellantis together with a 21 kW electric motor integrated into the six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, delivering a combined output of 145 CV, not forgetting the 48V battery with 0.9 kWh gross. This engine certifies a combined consumption of 5.3 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of between 119 and 127 g/km under the WLTP cycle.

Secondly, the DS Nº7 can be chosen in the fully electric E-Tense versions with outputs of 230 CV, 245 CV and 350 CV, the latter with all-wheel drive thanks to a second motor on the rear axle. For the 230 CV engine, a 73.7 kWh battery is available, giving a range of 543 kilometres, while for the 245 CV and 350 CV versions a 97.2 kWh battery is also available, with which it achieves a range of up to 740 and 679 kilometres respectively.

The new DS Nº7 will open its order books in Spain in the coming days, with prices starting at €46,000 for the Hybrid engine, while the fully electric versions start at €49,400.
