The Ferrari 812 Superfast has been dressed in carbon fibre thanks to Novitec, a German tuner that has designed a new aerodynamic kit for the Cavallino

The supercar segment knows no limits, since more and more vehicles are finding their place in this category with far-reaching innovations in both mechanics and aerodynamics. The Ferrari 812 Superfast has been one of the latest to spice up this much-acclaimed automotive segment, something it has achieved with its colossal power and its glorious engine which, against all odds, keeps its naturally aspirated character intact. However, the German tuner Novitec wanted to go even further with the most powerful production Cavallino Rampante, and has managed to do so by altering both its styling and its aerodynamics.
To achieve this goal, the German tuner has modified various exterior and interior components to create a more striking ensemble. With this premise, we find a Ferrari 812 faithful to its essence, but with a series of features that bring out even more its character as a true-blooded supercar.
Carbon and more carbon for the Cavallino with 12 cylinders
Novitec has turned to carbon fibre to give the various parts now mounted on the 812 Superfast. With this premise, the front, side and rear have all been modified, something we see reflected in the add-ons these areas of the Italian supercar feature. But the improvements by the Teutonic tuner don’t just alter the exterior of the Ferrari 812, but also its weight on the scales.

At the front we can see a new splitter finished in carbon fibre, flanked by air intakes on the bonnet made from the same material. Meanwhile, the side of the 812 Superfast is softened by the presence of forged wheels of a specific design, 21 inches at the front and 22 at the rear. Last but not least, we find more aerodynamic side skirts, also made in carbon fibre to reduce the weight of the supercar as much as possible.
The rear is dominated by a small spoiler, also in the same material that further accentuates the aggressiveness of the ensemble. The diffuser, also in carbon fibre, now houses a new INCONEL exhaust system that not only enhances the charismatic melody produced by the 812’s naturally aspirated V12, but also reduces weight by up to 11 kilos.
Future upgrades that will deliver more than 800 CV
For now, Novitec has not altered the mechanical layout of the Ferrari 812 Superfast, but it will only be a matter of time before the tuner squeezes every last drop out of the 6.5-litre V12 to unleash an even higher level of power. In the meantime, we can continue to enjoy its 800 CV of power and 718 Nm of torque, figures that catapult the Italian supercar to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds, with a top speed of 342 km/h.

However, the German firm has taken the opportunity to apply certain upgrades to the suspension, which allow greater stiffness and a 35 mm reduction in body height with the aim of improving the Superfast’s dynamic behaviour. Without a doubt, this is one of the most impressive creations of Ferrari ever, one that Novitec could not resist, and it has put its signature on it as soon as possible.
