The Kimera EV037 carries Martini livery remarkably well
The Kimera EV037 will be dressed in Martini & Rossi colours to compete in the Costa Smeralda Historic International Rally.

The Kimera EV037 has a very important mission: to pay tribute to the legendary Lancia 037. This model became the last rear-wheel-drive car to win the World Rally Championship. Now, the Kimera will wear the Martini & Rossi livery to compete in the Historic International Rally next April.
The car will be driven by Miki Biasion, a two-time WRC champion who drove the original Lancia 037 in the 1983, 1984 and 1985 events. He is also fortunate to be involved in the legend of both cars. The event will take place on 8 and 9 April in Sardinia.
Besides having driven the legendary Lancia, Biasion took part in the development of the Kimera EVO37 and carried out tests to set up the car from the very beginning of its creation. However, this will be the first time the car wears Martini livery, as it did on the legendary 037 of Group B.
The Kimera EV037 gets the Martini livery

The special livery of the Kimera EV037 was unveiled at the Martini headquarters, at the historic Pessione plant, ahead of the historic rally. To achieve this, Kimera sought permission not only from Martini & Rossi but also from Sparco and Pirelli. It will therefore also be relevant to the tyre brand, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary.
The spectacular car Biasion drives is the prototype the company previously used at Monte Carlo. Before that, it was used for technical development and tuning, so it is familiar to the rally champion driver.
The Kimera EVO37 is powered by a turbocharged and supercharged 2.1-litre four-cylinder engine that produces more than 507 CV and 550 Nm of maximum torque. The engine was built under the guidance of Claudio Lombardi, the engineer behind the engine that powered the rally car, the Lancia 037. All the panels are made of carbon fibre, and power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox.

Kimera has confirmed that it delivered its first car, chassis number 001/037, to a Dutch collector last month. The second car will be handed over to a Spanish collector at the end of April, while the company expects to build another eight units this year. So far, 27 of the 37 vehicles planned for production have been sold. The price of the remaining units is set at 540,000 €.
