Eletre Lotus Hybrid Cars Sports Cars SUV
The Lotus Eletre X is now available in Spain in two power levels
Lotus begins sales in Spain of the Eletre X, the plug-in hybrid version of its electric SUV, which comes in two power levels and a generous level of equipment

Lotus has also ventured into the world of electrified vehicles and, as could not be otherwise, its range must include an SUV as well: an electric SUV that is, obviously, heavy. If Colin Chapman were to lift his head, he would be looking for someone else to devour him… This SUV in question, as you surely know, is the Eletre, and it now adds a new version that begins sales in Spain.
The English brand announced a few months ago the Lotus Eletre X, a version of the English electric SUV that uses the X-Hybrid plug-in hybrid system, an architecture exclusive to the brand that uses a 2,000 cc turbocharged petrol engine acting as the power supplier for an on-board 150 kW generator, which backs up a high-density, ultra-fast-discharge cell battery system. On top of all this, we must add a 900 V architecture and a 52-litre fuel tank, resulting in a combined WLTP range of more than 1,200 km and up to 350 km in electric mode.

The Lotus Eletre X will be offered in two power levels. On one hand, we will have the Eletre X H550 with a combined system power of 405 kW (550 CV) together with 935 Nm of torque and, on the other hand, the Eletre X H1000 with a combined system power of 700 kW (952 CV), maintaining the same torque. With these figures it achieves acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 and 3.3 seconds, as well as a top speed of 210 and 230 km/h respectively. Nor can we forget that, once its battery is depleted, it allows charging from 20 to 80% in approximately 9 minutes on a 350 kW DC charger.

In a vehicle of these characteristics one expects a high level of standard equipment, and the Lotus Eletre X is no different. Among its features we find the following:
- 20-inch wheels
- Electric, heated and folding door mirrors with automatic dimming
- LED Matrix headlights with automatic height adjustment
- Light sensor
