X Zeekr Electric Cars Tests Review SUV
Zeekr X: in-depth test of the most urban electric SUV in the range
We test the Zeekr X, the Chinese-origin premium compact electric SUV that shares its platform with the Volvo EX30. Technical analysis, range, price in Spain and direct rivals.
The arrival of Zeekr in Europe has been one of the most interesting moves of the year in the premium electric segment. The brand, owned by the Geely giant, has chosen Spain as one of its strategic markets and has decided to enter through the front door with the Zeekr X, an urban electric SUV that shares the SEA platform with the Volvo EX30 and the Smart #1, but which aims to stand out with a more radical approach to design, performance and equipment. After a week behind the wheel around town, on secondary roads and on the motorway, these are our conclusions.
Zeekr X road test: first impressions behind the wheel
The first sensation when opening the door of the Zeekr X is that of an expensive car. Napa leather upholstery, contrasting stitching, a 14.6-inch central screen that operates smoothly, and an elevated driving position that is more reminiscent of a premium European crossover than a conventional B-SUV.
Once on the move, the chassis impresses with its composure: rigid, planted, and with direct steering response that moves away from the woolly feel common in urban electric cars.

Exterior design: Scandinavian minimalism with an Asian accent
The fact that the Zeekr X shares its platform with a Volvo is noticeable in the proportions, but not in the styling. The closed front end, the two-tier LED headlights and the flush-type door handles give it a futuristic air. It measures 4.43 metres long, placing it between segments B and C, with a 2.75-metre wheelbase that benefits the cabin.

Interior and technology: screen, materials and premium finishes
Inside, Zeekr has opted for aggressive minimalism: few physical buttons, almost everything managed through the central screen and a digital instrument cluster reduced to 8.8 inches. The operating system, based on the Snapdragon 8155, responds with the immediacy of a recent smartphone. The 13-speaker Yamaha Hi-Fi sound system is, without exaggeration, one of the best audio setups in the segment.
Zeekr X range and SEA platform: the technical foundation
On the 400 V SEA platform, the Zeekr X fits a 66 kWh usable NMC battery. The WLTP-rated range is 440 km in the RWD version and 420 km in the AWD. In our test, with temperatures of 14-18 °C and a mostly urban and inter-urban mix, real consumption came to 16.8 kWh/100 km, projecting a real-world range of around 380 km.
RWD and AWD versions: power and performance
The Long Range RWD version delivers 200 kW (272 CV) and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds. The Privilege AWD raises the figure to 315 kW (428 CV) and cuts the sprint to 3.8 seconds, premium electric sports car performance in a body just over 4.4 metres long.
| Power kW | Power CV | Top speed | Range | Consumption | Label | Fuel |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 315 kW | 428 CV | 180 km/h | 420 km | 17.4 kWh/100 km | Zero emissions | Electric |

Zeekr X price in Spain and market positioning
The Zeekr X starts at €44,990 for the Long Range RWD version and rises to €51,990 for the Privilege AWD. An aggressive price when compared with its direct European rivals, especially considering the standard equipment.
