Tata "Super" Nano with 230 CV by JA Motorsport
This is the unique build by the guys at JA Motorsport, based on a Tata Nano. With a more “racing” look and a 1.3-litre engine that produces 230 CV, along with a number of other modifications, this Super Nano has left everyone amazed.

You may not believe it, but what you see in the photo is a Tata Nano, okay, a slightly doped-up unit, but underneath that radical look is the same car. And all of this thanks to JA Motorsport.
The only thing that has been kept is the rear-wheel-drive layout, while basically everything else has been changed. On the outside we can see that its new full body kit gives it a much more “racing” look, since the wheel arches have been modified so the new wheel size fits, and a new front bumper has been added.

The brakes have been upgraded, and AP Racing disc brakes have been fitted on all four wheels, with larger-diameter ventilated discs and a more powerful caliper on the front axle, while the rear axle uses solid, non-ventilated discs. This “Super Nano” wears MRF ZLO slick racing tyres that are very reminiscent of those used in karting, but larger.
This little machine, as you can see, does not run its original two-cylinder engine with 38 CV (as expected), but instead houses a larger four-cylinder, 1.3-litre engine that produces around 230 CV, no more and no less.
With a power-to-weight ratio of 2.6 kg/CV, this Tata Nano has a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of just 6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 190 km/h.

As for the interior, JA Motorsport has fitted a roll cage, providing great rigidity to the structure, since the chassis of this vehicle would not have withstood the stresses produced by 230 CV. They have also replaced the original seats with racing bucket seats signed by Recaro.
The whole job will cost around 32,000 euros, so if you want a quirky car in your garage and the 38 CV of the standard model doesn’t convince you, start saving, although I would recommend many other options.
