The Marvel and DC superheroes now have their own cars. Check them out!

This year sees an avalanche of film releases based on comic book superheroes and manufacturers are joining in on this particular trend, with versions of some of their brands. And it’s not just them, as car customisation companies are also getting in on the act. In fact, several of them are putting forward themes based on the heroes of the page and their film versions.
BMW M2 BATMAN
When we think of a car for Batman, luxury and toughness seem to be what matters. But in this tuner’s case, he has thought of something more restrained. It is a BMW M2 turned into the ideal car for the Dark Knight. The traditional kidney grille on BMWs becomes a bat and it gains two rear spoilers, shaped like the characteristic ears on the hero’s cowl. The colour is, obviously, black.
BUGATTI CHIRON SUPERMAN
Unlike the M2 dedicated to his big-screen rival, Superman is very super. So a car based on him must also be imposing. There is nothing better than the great Bugatti Chiron to show off the colours of the hero from Krypton. In this case there is no theming beyond the chosen colour range, but since we are talking about the Chiron, I think we are already well served, don’t you?
LAMBORGHINI HURACÁN WONDER WOMAN
We hadn’t thought about which car we could link with Wonder Woman, but a Lamborghini Huracán could be a good option. The colour scheme reproduces that of her costume and the heroine’s emblem stands out on the front. In addition, the tiara can be seen at the top of the windscreen. The truth is that it doesn’t look bad at all.
TOYOTA MIRAI AQUAMAN

It is an obvious connection. The Toyota Mirai runs on hydrogen, so it only emits water vapour. Aquaman is the ideal hero to base a customisation on. The design is another matter. While in the previous ones we can see a certain elegance and sense in the colours and accessories, in this one everything seems to go over the top. Either way, it certainly won’t go unnoticed.
FORD MUSTANG SHELBY GT350R CAPTAIN AMERICA

American through and through, as it should be. The Mustang represents one of the most important and iconic cars from the American manufacturer, so we have no doubts whatsoever. That said, the shield decoration on the bonnet seems a bit excessive to us, but it certainly gives the image you would expect of this hero dressed in the American flag.
CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 IRON MAN
For the antagonist of Captain America in his next film, an American car has also been chosen. But since Tony Stark is quite a bit more of a connoisseur than Steve Rogers, a supercar more in keeping with his personality has been chosen. The Corvette Z06 has gained a colour scheme reminiscent of the billionaire hero’s armour and some details that reinforce the image of his iron suit.
FERRARI 488 SPIDER SPIDER-MAN

I very much doubt that J.J. Jameson pays Peter Parker enough money for his photos to afford this car, but it certainly defines Spider-Man very well. Agile, daring and with a colour scheme that recreates in detail one of the best superhero costumes ever created. It even has the outline of the headlights recreating Spidey’s famous eyes!
AUDI R8 WOLVERINE

This is one of the ones that looks worst. The artist who created it wanted to be as faithful as possible to the character, and fair enough, Wolverine‘s spandex suit is yellow and blue, which we can forgive. But putting the sideburns in the shape of hair behind the doors seems a bit excessive to me. The touch of the mirrors reminiscent of the cowl is interesting, at least. Unfortunately, I find it as elegant as the Mirai dedicated to Aquaman…
MERCEDES-BENZ G63 AMG 6X6 HULK

Of course, a car based on Hulk could not be just anything. This powerful off-roader is very fitting for the great emerald colossus. The green colour decorating its bodywork has the ideal complement in the wheel arches, which are painted purple, like the hero’s indestructible and stretchy trousers. Let’s see who dares to mess with him…
FORD MONDEO DEADPOOL

If one hero, or rather anti-hero, has had considerable success this year, it has been Deadpool. The Ford Mondeo based on him has the little dot on the rear. Looked at closely, it resembles the character’s mask, even though it carries the two swords on the rear window. To top it off, a vinyl suggests there is something in the boot and, to cap it all, a message from the loudmouthed mercenary can be read on the rear spoiler. Not suitable for people who are too serious, of course.
It is clear that most of these cars will never reach the streets and will remain simple designs. But if anyone is interested in customising their car and giving it this look, money can fix anything. Are you tempted by any of them?
