Rimac Nevera: an electric supercar that stands up to Ferrari
The Rimac Nevera was previously known as the Rimac C_Two and has improved considerably since its debut as a concept car, as you can see.

The production model of the Rimac C_Two has already been revealed. And how! The model has changed its name and is now the Rimac Nevera. A spectacular, modern and attractive design that gives drivers all the power and action they need for those who want to get the most out of the experience that a car built to break the market in this segment offers.
The power delivered by its four electric motors amounts to 1,914 CV and a maximum torque of 2,360 Nm. With these figures, this electric model can reach 100 km/h in just 1.85 seconds and even achieve a top speed of 412 km/h. Figures that tell us we are looking at an impressive vehicle, of which only 150 units will be built, each costing 2 million euros.

Equipment built to smash records
Torque is managed by Rimac’s All-Wheel Torque Vectoring 2 (R-AWTV 2) system, which replaces the electronic stability program used by other models. To control all that power, it features Brembo brakes with 39-centimetre discs and six-piston calipers. A luxury car that runs on electric power and will make many think twice before saying an electric supercar cannot offer the same performance as a combustion-engine car.
The battery is H-shaped and consists of 6,960 cells, made with lithium, nickel and manganese. Its capacity is 120 kWh and the company promises a range of 550 kilometres on the WLTP cycle. It features a 500 kW fast-charging system, surpassing models such as the Porsche Taycan, which charges at 270 kW, and even the Tesla Superchargers, which deliver 250 kW.

Design and aerodynamics
The design and aerodynamic capabilities of the Rimac Nevera have improved by 34% compared with the first concept versions of the model. Notable changes include the bonnet, the shape of the pillars and their design, which improve the car’s overall behaviour.
The Rimac Nevera uses a monocoque chassis with a carbon roof made of 2,200 layers of carbon and 222 aluminium inserts, which together with the rear auxiliary frame weighs just 200 kg. In total, it has a weight of 2,150 kg, which is quite light considering all the heavy components it carries.
Feats of the Rimac Nevera
Not much has been shown yet, but this model has already starred in several striking videos. The first of them was not free from controversy, as it shows the Rimac Nevera reaching 230 km/h on an ordinary road near Dubrovnik. The speed limit on that road is 90 km/h, so the company faces difficulties for exceeding the limit by 110 km/h. For now, it has been forced to apologise and await the consequences of this recklessness.

The second video in which we have seen the Rimac Nevera is one in which it faces a Ferrari SF90 Stradale, which offers 1,000 CV of power. The video shows the Rimac Nevera comfortably overtaking the Ferrari and finishing the quarter mile (just over 400 metres) in less time. This test was organised by Carnow, and the video has put the spotlight on a new model that promises many surprises soon.
