SU7 Xiaomi Electric Cars Supercars
The Xiaomi SU7 GT is closer than we expected: this is what the wildest version of the model will look like
Xiaomi is not stopping with new versions of its SU7 model, and now presents the GT, which has been registered with China’s Ministry of Transport and will arrive soon

Models that are going to be launched in China are first registered with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, MITT, the Chinese body in charge of validating type approvals. And in the latest catalogue one of the models that had been awaited has already been seen, and it will soon be on the market. The Xiaomi SU7 GT is going to start being sold soon, and some of the data has been published that will allow us to know what awaits us with it.
The images that have been seen of the new Xiaomi SU7 GT show a dark bodywork, which attempts to make it clear that we are not looking at one of the normal cars of this model, but rather a more radical and powerful version. And the image goes hand in hand with the figures provided by its electric drivetrain.

We have data showing that it will have a front electric motor with an output of 288 kW, equivalent to 386 CV. The rear motor, for its part, will offer an output of 450 kW, equivalent to 603 CV. Working together, the two motors will deliver a combined output of 738 kW, or in other words, 990 CV.
With these figures, a top speed of 300 km/h does not surprise us, which takes it out of the category of traditional SUVs and into the territory of supercars. Although one might think it is close to what the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra could be, this model is larger and designed for more comfortable travel. It is not a estate in the proper sense, and it comes close to what the Ferrari Purosangue or the Lamborghini Urus offer, SUV vehicles that go a little beyond the premium segment.
As for size, this is a vehicle that measures 5,015 mm long, 2,007 mm wide and has a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. Its kerb weight is 2,460 kg, although it can reach 2,910 kg when fully equipped. This will give it not only speed, but also stability and controlled power, so it will be a car that will surprise us in a good way.
The wheels are fitted with sporty-spirited tyres, in size 265/40 R21 at the front and 295/35 R21 at the rear. The brakes are not yet known, but they must be of considerable size and efficiency to control this vehicle, which has considerable power and a rather active character.
And looking at the battery, it is lithium-based and sourced from CATL. For now, we do not have more data nor do we know the price at which it will be offered when it reaches the market. We will not have to wait long to find out, and we will be able to learn what they have in store for us with a model that will take the brand into territory we did not expect.
