Aston Martin combines elegance and sportiness in the new GT version of the DBX

Aston Martin expands the DBX range with the new GT version, which has the same performance as the S version but with greater comfort, luxury and refinement

Last spring Aston Martin presented the DBX S, a version in which this English SUV showed off all its sportiness through a bolder look and an engine whose power was raised to considerable figures. Now, Aston Martin adds the GT version to the DBX range, in which, without losing an ounce of sportiness, luxury, comfort and refinement are raised to the highest levels.

The Aston Martin DBX GT will stand apart from its siblings, and especially from the S version, through distinctive features such as the new double-slat grille, available in a glossy or dark finish, whose slats extend towards the side air intakes, integrating the daytime running lights and thus creating a horizontal effect at the front that reinforces its presence. Meanwhile, the side features a two-piece metal moulding in polished and satin contrast, inspired by traditional watchmaking techniques.

We will not leave the DBX GT’s side profile without mentioning the 22-inch forged wheels with a Satin Titanium Diamond Turned finish, fitted with all-season tyres signed by Pirelli. For those who want more sportiness, 23-inch wheels with a more radical design are available as an option. At the rear, the new tailpipe trims for the four exhaust outlets, in a polished glossy exterior finish and a satin-anodised interior, take centre stage. Notably, overall, elements of the lower bodywork such as the front bumper, side skirts and rear diffuser are painted in the same colour as the rest of the bodywork to reinforce the concept of elegance.

This design exercise also extends to the interior of the DBX GT, raising the level of comfort and craftsmanship with new-design seats featuring exclusive embroidery, as well as improved contours, padding and side support in both the front and rear seats. The rear seats in particular feature a new individual layout, while maintaining the flexibility of five seats. Comfort goes a step further with increased cabin soundproofing, thanks to specific improvements throughout the bodyshell structure and insulation.

Mechanically, the Aston Martin DBX GT shares the same performance as the S version. Its 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 has a series of modifications that raise its power to 727 CV and a torque of 900 Nm, figures that allow it to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 310 km/h. All this power will be easier to manage thanks to other changes such as a quicker steering ratio, specific suspension calibration and greater refinement in the accelerator pedal response. All of this is complemented by a special melody emanating from its exhaust pipe, with a specifically tuned sound configuration.

We will not be long in seeing the Aston Martin DBX GT on the roads, as the English brand plans to deliver the first units before the end of 2026.
