Citroën announces the price for Spain and starts accepting orders for the ë-Jumpy
Citroën adds a new electric commercial vehicle to its range with the new ë-Jumpy, which is now ready to hit the Spanish market

Updated a little over a year ago, the Citroën Jumpy expands its line-up with the arrival on the market of the new ë-Jumpy, the fully electric version that goes on sale in Spain as part of the French brand’s goal of having a range of six electric models by the end of 2020. This offensive will continue next year, until the other goal of electrifying its entire range of commercial vehicles by the end of that year is met.
Visually, on the outside, we’ll have to look a little closer to tell the ë-Jumpy apart from its combustion-engined sibling, though it won’t be difficult. They are practically identical, except that the ë-Jumpy has no central grille directly above the bumper, and of course there is no exhaust outlet, while right above the front left wing you’ll find the charging port cover.

Unlike the combustion Jumpy, which comes in five versions, the new Citroën ë-Jumpy will be offered in the Control trim, which includes basic features such as the RD6 radio with MP3 and Bluetooth or the electric parking brake; and the Club trim, which adds more equipment and parking aids as standard. As for bodies, there will be three lengths available: XS (4,600 mm), M (4,950 mm) and XL (5,300 mm); along with a payload of up to 1,275 kg, a usable volume of up to 6.6 m3 and a usable width between the wheel arches of 1,250 mm to allow Euro pallets to be loaded, plus up to 100 litres of storage spread throughout the cabin and the Moduwork option to turn the cabin into a mobile office.
Naturally, for each of them there is a wide selection of optional equipment that lets you adapt it to the job it is intended for, making its use during the working day much more comfortable. You’ll find, for example, equipment such as hands-free sliding doors, keyless entry and start, a colour Head-Up display, a reversing camera, automatic high/low beam switching, lane departure warning, Grip Control, a 7-inch touchscreen with Connect NAV, Connect Assist and other connected services among the available equipment.

Mechanically, the Citroën ë-Jumpy uses an electric motor that produces 136 CV along with 260 Nm of torque, which can be used in the Normal, ECO and Power modes available, although in all of them the top speed is 130 km/h. It will be offered with two batteries: one of 50 kWh for all bodies, offering a maximum range of 230 km according to the WLTP test cycle, and, for the M and XL bodies, a 75 kWh battery with a range of 330 km, both of which can be charged at up to 100 kW to 80% of their capacity in 30 and 45 minutes respectively. Either way, you can also charge them more slowly at home or at a wallbox.
The new Citroën ë-Jumpy can now be ordered at the brand’s dealerships and will reach our roads in the coming months, with a starting price of 34,100 euros for the ë-Jumpy XS Control with the 50 kWh battery.
